Julie, in case you read this blog please contact terry.leahy@tesco.com to get a response from Tesco and use Tesco-Complaint (tesco-complaint.publish@blogger.com) to publicise your complaint on this blog. We can't reply on behalf of Tesco but we're sure they will start with a meaningless cheap apology. Anyway, what type of costumes do you make? ;)

Stay away from Tesco's in the Czech Republic. Cashiers which are too lazy to open the rack with cigarettes, and just tell you in thier language they do not have cigarettes. ENORMOUS female security guards which are following you all the time when they hear you are speaking a language that is different than theirs!

Stay away from Tesco at Lime House (East London) or you get second rate service from rude staff who would not think twice about assaulting you. To say that the manager in this store is incompetent would be a gross understatement.

we are expats living in Ostrava, Czech Republic and do most of our groceries from Tesco. I don't know what is it with the plastic covers and the tesco employees!!!!ask them for more, they get annoyed..and yesterday this old lady really abused us for asking for more covers :( even told us to go study czech language :) i think the oldies employed by tesco in the czech republic still have the 'communist' view in them. can't recognise foreigners and are really ignorant.

The old lady in my Czech tesco scoured a huge scratch in my new teflon pan with the removal tool.
